[헤럴드경제=한영대 기자] 롯데네슬레는 다음 달 1일 네스카페 수프리모 아메리카노,한화 야구중계방송수프리모 병(100g) 등 인스턴트 커피와 핫초코 오리지널 원컵 등 분말음료 제품 출고가를 7% 인상한다고 28일 밝혔다.

인상된 가격이 적용되는 시점은 편의점,한화 야구중계방송마트 등 채널별로 다르다.롯데네슬레의 가격 인상은 지난해 1월 이후 1년 5개월 만이다.

롯데네슬레는 커피원두와 코코아 가격 상승 등 원가 부담이 커져 공급 가격을 인상했다.

국제 커피원두 가격은 로부스타의 경우 2020년 ㎏당 1.30달러에서 올해 4월 3.97달러로 3배 이상 뛰었다.아라비카 가격은 2020년 파운드당 1.11달러에서 올해 4월 2.21달러로 약 2배로 올랐다.

커피원두 가격 상승의 주요 원인으로는 가뭄 여파 등으로 생산량이 감소한 것이 꼽힌다.

국제 커피원두 가격 급등으로 소비자들 사이에서는 커피 제품 가격의 추가 인상에 대한 우려가 나오고 있다.실제 저가 커피 프랜차이즈 업체인 더벤티는 올해 4월 카페라테 등 메뉴 7종 가격을 200∼500원 올린 바 있다.
