한국투자증권은 10일 NAVER에 대해 미국 증시 상장을 추진하는 네이버웹툰의 둔화된 성장성을 회복시켜야 하는 과제를 안고 있다고 평가했다.투자의견과 목표주가는 각각 기존의‘매수’와 27만원을 유지했다.

NAVE의 웹둔 사업을 총괄하는 웹툰엔터테인먼트는 지난달 31일 미국 증권거래위원회(SEC)에 증권신고서를 제출했다.상장 후 기업가치는 아직 공개되지 않았지만,뚜르드 프랑스: 기적의 레이스블룸버그는 30억~40억달러 수준으로 추정했다.

정호윤 한국투자증권 연구원은 증권신고서를 통해 드러난 웹툰 엔터테인먼트의 성장 둔화를 지적했다.우선 월간활성이용자수(MAU)가 2022년 1분기 이후 정체돼 있다.주요 지역 모두에서의 공통된 현상이다.올해 1분기의 유저 1인당 지출비용(ARPPU)는 11.5달러로,뚜르드 프랑스: 기적의 레이스2022년 1분기(7.8달러)와 비교하면 성장했지만 작년 1분기 이후로는 거의 정체 상태라고 정 연구원은 말했다.

성장세를 회복하기 위한 과제로는 △콘텐츠 다양성 확대 △매출 성장과 수익성 확보 사이의 딜레마 해결 △지적재산권(IP) 활용 확대 등이 꼽혔다.
