[서울=뉴시스] 이준호 기자 = 현대백화점이 BGF리테일과 손잡고 자체 캐릭터인 흰디로 디자인된 젤리를 선보인다고 11일 밝혔다.백화점의 공간을 벗어나 외부 유통채널에 진출하는 첫 사례다.

현대백화점은 이번 협업을 계기로 캐릭터를 활용한 자체 IP(지식재산권) 사업의 보폭을 넓혀가겠다는 계획이다.

흰디는 현대백화점이 고객들과 '순간의 행복을 기억하자'는 메시지를 나누기 위해 흰색 강아지를 모티브로 2019년 처음 선보인 자체 캐릭터다.

흰디가 젤리 모양의 젤핑·젤뽀·젤봉 3명의 친구들을 만나 행복을 수집하기 위한 모험을 떠난다는 세계관을 기반으로 한다.

이번에 출시하는 젤리 상품은 봉지당 50g으로,2006 월드컵 조별리그판매 가격은 1600원이다.

흰디 모양의 요거트 맛 젤리와 흰디의 친구인 젤리 모양의 캐릭터 젤핑(복숭아맛),2006 월드컵 조별리그젤봉·젤뽀(자두맛)로 디자인된 젤리 총 4종으로 구성돼 있으며,2006 월드컵 조별리그흰디 스티커도 포함된다.

현대백화점과 BGF리테일은 상품 출시를 기념해 오는 17일부터 다음달 31일까지 구매 고객을 대상으로 프로모션을 진행한다.

먼저,2006 월드컵 조별리그CU에서 흰디와 젤리씨앗단 구매 시 현대백화점그룹 통합멤버십 H포인트로 결제하면 50%를 할인해주는 프로모션을 진행한다.
