대한의사협회의 '집단 휴진'에 광주와 전남 의사들도 일부 동참했습니다.

대학병원은 물론 농어촌 지역의 동네 의원도 문을 닫은 곳이 있어서 환자들이 불편을 겪었습니다.

광주시의사회는 결의대회를 열고,다나카 광고정부의 의대 증원 방침에 강력 대응할 것을 예고했습니다.

[리포트]

의료시설이 부족한 농촌 지역의 한 의원입니다.

어르신들이 진료를 받으러 병원을 찾았지만 문이 닫혀 있습니다.

["쉬는가 문 닫혔네?"]

문 앞에 붙은 안내문을 보고서야 발길을 돌립니다.

["그럼 집으로 가야지 할 수 없지.다 쉰다고 하는데 어디로 가."]

영문도 모르는 채 되돌아가는 환자들.

[이계례/함평군 손불면 : "문 잠궈놔서 헛걸음했지.(쉬는 거 모르셨어요?) 모르니까 왔지.알면 여기를 뭐하러 왔겠어.땀 찔찔 흘리고."]

어르신들은 분통을 터뜨립니다.

[정경림/함평군 함평읍 : "뭐하는 짓이야 이게.환자를 놓고 장난하는 거야?뭐하는 거야 이게.정치하고 싸움 하느라고."]

의료기관의 사전 휴진 신고율은 광주 11.78%,다나카 광고전남 14.18%.

전남대병원과 조선대병원에서도 외래 진료 휴진 참여율이 각각 30%에 달했습니다.

일부 진료과의 경우 진료시간이 조정되기도 했습니다.

[전남대병원 환자 : "파업에 동참하니까 오전 일찍 오라고 (했어요).시민들은 안 좋죠.파업하면 의사들이 자리를 지키고,다나카 광고환자들을 지켜야 되는데 자기 이익만 생각하는 것 같고요."]

광주의사회는 결의대회를 열고 정부가 불합리하고 실효성 없는 의대 증원을 추진하고 있다며 끝까지 정부에 맞서 싸우겠다고 예고했습니다.

정부와 의사단체의 갈등이 장기화하면서 환자들의 불편과 불안만 더욱 커지고 있습니다.
