앞으로 항공기 내에서 컵라면 서비스가 사라질 전망이다.대한항공은 일반실의 서비스를 중단했다.

국토교통부는 15일 최근 증가하는 항공기 난기류 피해를 최소화하기 위해 산·학·연과 협력해 '난기류 사고예방대책'을 마련했다고 15일 밝혔다.

국토부는 지난 12일 11개 국적사에 컵라면 서비스 중단을 권고하는 공문을 보냈다.

난기류를 맞닥뜨리면 즉시 기내식과 면세품 판매 등 객실 서비스를 중단하는 표준 절차를 마련한다.

착륙 과정에서 난기류가 빈번하게 발생하고 있어 중·장거리 노선은 착륙 40분 전까지,bj파닥 꼭지단거리 노선은 15분 전까지 기내 서비스를 종료하도록 권고한다.

국토부는 항공 종사자의 난기류 이해도와 대응 역량도 높이기 위해 다음 달부터 조종사와 운항관리사 정기교육 과정에 '난기류 과목'을 신설하고,객실 승무원의 난기류 시나리오 대응 교육·훈련을 강화하기로 했다.
