[부산=뉴시스]김민지 기자 = 부산항만공사(BPA)는 2028년까지 누적 일자리 3만개를 창출하겠다고 16일 밝혔다.이는 기존 BPA가 내놓은 목표보다 2년 앞당겨진 것이다.

BPA는 최근 '2024년 부산항 일자리 창출 계획'을 수립하며 지역의 시급한 일자리 확대 필요성,2019년 5월 29일 야구 경기일정부산항의 여건 및 경제 상황 등을 고려해 중장기 일자리 목표를 이같이 재설정하게 됐다고 설명했다.

BPA는 목표 조기 달성을 위해 공공 일자리 부문에서는 정·현원차 관리를 통한 수시 채용 및 정규직 정원의 약 10% 규모의 청년인턴 채용을 진행해 일자리 공백을 최소화할 계획이다.

민간 부문에서는 배후 물류단지 신규 유치 및 개장과 규제 완화,2019년 5월 29일 야구 경기일정항만 건설 및 유지보수 등 민간기업의 성장을 직·간접적으로 지원해 안정적인 일자리를 조성할 예정이다.

앞서 BPA는 지난해 공공 부문과 민간 부문에서 4521개의 일자리를 창출해 2020년 이후 누적 일자리 창출 1만5000개를 달성했다.
