제주‘바가지 물가’논란 지속

[사진 출처=유튜브‘부산여자하쿠짱’]최근 제주도‘바가지 물가’논란이 지속 제기되는 가운데,로또 책유명 관광지인 용두암 근처 해녀촌에서 해산물 모듬을 시켰다가 바가지를 썼다는 사연이 전해졌다.

11일 각종 온라인 커뮤니티에는‘제주 도민도 속수무책,로또 책5만원 해산물 바가지’라는 제목의 글이 공유됐다.

이 글에는 지난달 제주도에 거주하는 한 부산 출신 유튜버가 용두암을 방문해 촬영한 영상 내용이 담겼다.

사진을 보면 전복·해삼·소라가 섞인 5만원어치 해산물이 플라스틱 용기에 놓인 모습이다.

유튜버는 “보통 5만원짜리는 2인이 먹으니까 젓가락 2개 주시는데 아…이거 5만원,좀 세다”고 말했다.먹으면서도 연신 “양이 너무 적다”라며 “분위기는 좋지만…”이라고 말을 흐렸다.

즉석에서 합석한 손님도 “(비싸서) 다신 오고 싶지 않다”며 불만을 드러냈다.

해당 영상을 본 누리꾼들은 “저게 5만원이니 안 가지”,“횟집 스끼다시(밑반찬) 같은데 5만원?”,로또 책“아직도 제주 가서 저런 걸 먹는 사람이 있다니” 등의 반응을 보였다.

또 다른 이는 유튜브 동영상 댓글에 “예전에는 이런 일들이 알려지지 않아 문제가 많았다”며 “성읍 해녀촌 해산물 성인 2~3명 가서 먹으면 웬만한 횟집 가격 나오니 안 가야 한다.가성비 좋은 메뉴를 위해 피땀 흘리는 제주 자영업자분들이 피해를 보고 있다”고 밝혔다.

한편 제주도는 여행 품질 개선을 위해‘제주 관광 서비스센터’를 오픈하기로 했으나 아직 문을 열지 못하고 있다.

제주 관광 서비스센터는 오영훈 제주지사가 위원장으로 있는‘제주관광혁신 비상대책위원회’출범에 따라 지난달 24일 제주관광협회에 설치해 운영하기로 한 바 있다.
