[세종=뉴시스]송승화 기자 = 세종시가 17일부터 오는 24일까지 7일간 세종보 주차장 등에서 전세버스와 학원차량의 안전관리를 점검한다.

16일 시에 따르면 여름 휴가철과 학원 수업일 증가로 전세버스와 학원 통학차량이 늘어날 것으로 예상됨에 따라 안전사고 예방을 위해 교통안전공단 등 관계기관과 합동점검을 마련했다.

이번 점검 대상은 9개 업체 총 113대의 전세버스와 학원차량이다.

주요 점검 사항은 ▲속도제한장치 설치와 작동 여부 ▲안전띠 설치 및 작동상태 ▲타이어 상태 ▲영상기록장치 설치 및 작동 여부 ▲운행기록계(DTG) 설치 및 작동 여부 ▲소화기 상태 등 차량 안전 운행에 필수적인 사항들이다.

특히 지난해 점검 시 주요 지적 사항이었던 등화장치 적정 여부와 차로이탈경고장치 작동 여부 등을 면밀하게 살필 예정이다.

성은하 교통과장은 “이번 여름 휴가철 단체여행 수요와 학원차량 이용 학생 증가가 예상됨에 따라 더욱 안전한 교통환경을 조성할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
