한국 축구 국가대표팀에 홍명보 감독이 선임된 일과 관련해 국민 절반이 긍정적으로 평가한다는 여론조사 결과가 12일 나왔다.

한국갤럽이 9~11일 전국 만 18세 이상 1000명에게 물은 결과,인데펜디엔테 메데인47%가 '잘된 일'이라고 응답했다.'잘못된 일'이라는 응답은 25%로 절반 수준에 그쳤다.모름/응답거절은 28%였다.

대체로 연령대가 높아질수록 긍정론이 많은 모습이었다.전반적으로 젊은 남성일수록 부정론이 높은 모양새다.갤럽은 "60대 이상에서 긍정론이 많았고,인데펜디엔테 메데인축구 관심층이 많은 남성의 부정적 시각(35%,인데펜디엔테 메데인30대 남성 54%)이 여성(15%)보다 강하다는 데 주목할 만하다"고 분석했다.

과거 2013년 8월에도 홍 감독 선임을 '잘된 일'로 보는 여론이 78%에 달했고,인데펜디엔테 메데인브라질 월드컵 16강 탈락 직후인 2014년 7월 그의 거취 관련 조사에서도 '사퇴'(31%)보다 '유임'(52%)을 바라는 사람이 많기도 했다.
