북한은 지난 5월 말부터 총 일곱 차례에 걸쳐 2천 개가 넘는 오물 풍선을 날려 보냈는데요.

불시에 떨어진 낙하물에 수도권에서 2천만 원이 넘는 재산 피해가 났습니다.

차량 유리창이 심하게 부서지고 주변에 잔해물이 흩어져 있습니다.

지난달 2일 서울 양천구에서 오물 풍선에 피해를 본 차량인데요.

더불어민주당 양부남 의원이 서울시와 경기도에서 제출받은 자료에 따르면,되돌림 파동북한이 오물 풍선을 처음 살포한 5월 28일부터 지난달 12일까지 수도권에서 발생한 재산상 피해가 약 2천678만 원으로 집계됐습니다.

피해 신고는 서울에서 10건,되돌림 파동경기에서 4건이 접수됐는데요.

하지만 현재는 오물 풍선으로 인한 피해를 지원할 수 있는 법적 근거가 없어 국회 차원에서 입법이 추진되고 있습니다.

행정안전부는 서울시와 경기도가 피해액을 산출하면 예비비를 활용해 지원할 예정이라고 밝혔습니다.
