이상현 국립합창단 신임 이사장(사진=문체부 제공).[이데일리 김미경 기자] 문화체육관광부는 국립합창단 이사장에 이상현(47) ㈜태인 대표이사를 임명한다고 5일 밝혔다.임기는 2027년 6월 4일까지 3년이다.

이상현 신임 이사장은 ㈜태인 대표이사로서,인터넷 바둑이장애 청소년 문화·체육활동의 지원 등 다양한 사회공헌 활동을 펼쳐왔다.또한 국립극장진흥재단 이사,인터넷 바둑이명선아트홀 대표,인터넷 바둑이대한하키협회 회장 등을 역임하는 등 문화 분야에서 활발히 활동 중이다.

유인촌 문체부 장관은 “국립합창단은 1973년 창단 이후 대한민국 합창음악 발전의 중추적 역할을 맡아 왔다”며 “신임 이사장은 문화예술 분야에서 꾸준히 다양한 사회공헌 활동을 해온 경험을 바탕으로 국립합창단의 저변 확대에 기여할 것으로 기대한다”고 했다.
