[파이낸셜뉴스] 음주운전 차량에 치여 쓰러진 20대 청년이 5명에게 새 삶을 선물하고 하늘의 별이 됐다.

24일 한국장기조직기증원에 따르면 지난 4월1일 조병훈 씨(22)가 순천향대학교 부천병원에서 뇌사 장기기증으로 5명에 심장,폐장,간장,좌우 신장을 기증하고 세상을 떠났다.

6년 전 아버지가 사고로 뇌를 다쳐 사망한 이후 가장 역할을 해온 조씨는 대학교 1학년을 마친 뒤 군대에 다녀와 스스로 용돈을 벌고자 아르바이트를 하고 집으로 돌아가던 중 불의의 사고를 당했다.

지난 3월17일 아르바이트를 마치고 자전거를 타고 귀가하던 중 음주운전 뺑소니 차량이 치인 조씨는 급히 병원으로 이송돼 치료를 받았지만 의식을 회복하지 못하고 뇌사 상태가 됐다.

가족들은 조씨가 다시 깨어날 수 없다는 의료진의 이야기를 듣고,이대로 떠나기에는 너무 어리기에 좋은 일을 했으면 하는 마음으로 기증을 결심했다.

경기 부천에서 1남 1녀 중 장남으로 태어난 조씨는 활발하고,토토배당분석어려운 친구를 먼저 돕는 마음 따뜻한 청년이었다고 한다.

조씨는 어릴 적부터 운동을 좋아해서 태권도 4단 자격을 땄고,지역 태권도 대회에 나가 금메달도 여러 차례 수상했다.이후 부천대 스포츠재활학과에 입학한 그는 총학생회에 몸담아 학교생활도 열심히 하며 체육 교사를 꿈꿨다.

조씨의 어머니 이경희 씨는 "병훈아 이제 너를 만날 순 없지만,너의 몸 일부라도 다른 사람 몸에서 살고 숨 쉬고 있는 거니까 건강하게 잘 지냈으면 좋겠어.하늘에서는 아프지 말고 힘들었던 거 다 잊고 새 삶을 살아.보고 싶다.사랑해"라고 마지막 인사를 건넸다.
