공정거래위원회가 유통 분야에서 벌어지는 불공정행위와 거래 관행을 개선하기 위해 42개 유통 브랜드와 7000여 개 거래·입점업체를 대상으로 실태조사를 실시한다.14일 공정위는 9개 업태를 대상으로 '2024년 유통 분야 서면 실태조사'를 진행한다고 밝혔다.조사는 2006년부터 매년 이뤄지고 있으며 이번 조사 결과는 11월쯤 발표된다.

올해는 다양한 유통업태 거래 관행을 파악하기 위해 기존 7개 업태에 면세점과 전문판매점을 추가한 9개를 조사 대상으로 삼았다.호텔신라·롯데면세점·신세계면세점·현대백화점면세점과 올리브영·다이소·하이마트·전자랜드가 포함됐다.여기에 대형마트와 편의점,탱카타온라인 쇼핑몰 같은 유통업계 주요 브랜드 42개가 모두 실태조사 대상이다.
