이날 온라인 커뮤니티에는 "부산 남천동 아파트에 욱일기(전범기) 게양"이라는 제목의 글이 게시됐다.함께 올라온 사진을 보면 부산 수영구 남천동 한 주상복합건물 고층 창문에 욱일기 두 개가 내걸려 있다.

앞서 해당 건물 같은 위치에 일장기가 걸려 비판 여론이 제기된 바 있다.지난달 18일 건물에 일장기가 게양된 사진과 함께 "집 근처에 매국노가 살고 있다"며 "경찰에서도 어쩔 수 없다고 한다"는 글이 온라인에 올라왔다.

욱일기 처리를 두고 주상복합건물 측은 난감해하고 있다.해당 건물 관리사무소 관계자는 이날 "문의 및 항의 전화가 많이 들어오고 있다"며 "안내방송 등을 했지만 직접 내리거나 조치할 수 있는 방법이 없다"고 말했다.

앞서 지난해 3·1절에 세종시 한 아파트 베란다에 일장기가 걸려 논란이 일었다.당시 일부 주민들이 일장기를 건 A씨 집을 찾아가 항의하자 자진해서 일장기를 내린 A씨는 "나는 일본인인데 한국이 너무 싫다"는 말을 하기도 했다.
