이동관 전 방송통신위원장이 배우자의 청탁 의혹을 보도한 YTN을 상대로 제기한 5억 민사 손해배상 소송 1심에서 패소했습니다.

서울중앙지법 민사25부(부장판사 송승우)는 오늘(28일) 이 전 위원장이 우장균 전 YTN 사장과 기자 등을 상대로 낸 손해배상 청구를 모두 기각한다고 판결했습니다.

재판부는 소송비용은 원고인 이 전 위원장이 모두 부담한다고 설명했습니다.

YTN은 지난해 8월 이 전 부위원장 부인이 2010년 인사 청탁으로 돈을 받고 두 달 뒤에 돌려줬다고 보도했습니다.

이 전 위원장은 “YTN이 흠집 내기 보도를 계속하고 있다”면서 YTN 관계자들을 경찰에 고소하고 5억 원의 손해배상 소송을 제기했습니다.
