대만군 '항모 킬러' 스텔스 초계함

(서울=연합뉴스) 인교준 기자 = 대만군이 항공모함 킬러로 통하는 퉈장급 코르베트함(초계함) 2척을 이번 주 취역시킬 예정이라고 홍콩 사우스차이나모닝포스트(SCMP)가 2일 보도했다.

이들 2척은 길이 60.4ｍ,네이버앱 다크모드폭 14ｍ이고 최대 속도가 45노트(시속 83㎞),네이버앱 다크모드배수량 700t이고 작전 범위는 1천800해리(약 3천334㎞)에 달한다.파도를 뚫고 달리기에 용이하도록 동일한 크기의 두 개 평행 선체인 카타마란 디자인이 특징이다.

대만이 자체 개발한 슝펑 Ⅱ 대함 미사일과 하이젠Ⅱ 대공 미사일로 무장해 항모를 포함해 해상 또는 육지의 표적을 공격할 수 있다.

대만군은 타장·푸장·쉬장·우장함에 이어 이번 2척의 취역으로 모두 6척의 코르베트함을 갖추게 됐다.

SCMP는 스텔스 기능을 갖춘 코르베트함은 구축함이나 호위함 등 대형 군함을 활용한 작전이 쉽지 않은 연안 해역 등에서 효과적이며,이는 중국 인민해방군에 맞선 대만군의 비대칭 전략 차원에서 중요한 역할을 하게 될 것이라고 전했다.

대만군 소식통은 "이번 2척 이외에 코르베트함 5척이 2026년 말까지 건조돼 군에 인도될 것"이라고 말했다.

스키점프대 함재기 이륙 방식의 항공모함 랴오닝함과 산둥함에 이어 전자기 캐터펄트(항공모함 갑판에서 함재기를 쏘아 올리는 사출기)를 사용한 3호 푸젠함 시험 항해에 들어간 중국은 항모를 이용한 대만 공격 가능성을 키워왔다.

특히 친미·독립 성향의 라이칭더 총통이 지난 1월 당선된 이후 중국은 대만해협에서 사실상 대만 침공을 염두에 두고 항모를 동원한 군사훈련을 하는 등 군사·안보 위기를 키우는 가운데 대만도 항모 킬러 초계함 건조에 박차를 가하고 있다.
