롯데케미칼은 2020년부터 폐플라스틱 수거 문화 개선과 재활용을 통한 플라스틱 순환경제 체제 구축을 위한 프로젝트 루프를 추진하고 있다.지난 3년 동안 약 11개 기업을 발굴했다.

발굴된 기업에는 지원금과 함께 폐플라스틱 활용 리사이클 제품 판로 확대 등을 지원했다.또 인천,바카라사이트 벳 무브부산,바카라사이트 벳 무브울산시와 지역 클러스터 구축하고 그룹 계열사와의 컬래버레이션을 하는 등 자원선순환 확산에 기여해 왔다.

3기 활동 기업 중 한 곳인 스튜디오랩은 의류의 재질과 종류,바카라사이트 벳 무브부속물을 실시간으로 측정하고 분류하는 인공지능(AI) 기반 폐의류 분류 솔루션을 개발했다.스튜디오랩은 지속가능성,바카라사이트 벳 무브자원순환기여도,바카라사이트 벳 무브확장가능성 등의 심사를 거쳐 우수기업으로 선정돼 환경부 장관상과 상금 2000만원을 받았다.

찬솔사회적협동조합은 발달 장애인의 직업 패러다임을 혁신할 수 있는 조립 교구의 소재를 기존 목재에서 재생 플라스틱 소재로 전환했다.티에스피바이오켐은 박스 패키지의 스티로폼을 대체하는 자체 개발 바이오시트에 재생 원료를 적용했다.

황민재 롯데케미칼 기술전략본부장은 "프로젝트 루프 소셜은 자원선순환 분야에서 혁신적인 해결책을 제시하는 파트너를 발굴·육성하며 순환과 공존의 사회적 가치를 창출하는 프로그램"이라며 "여러 소셜벤처를 통해 자원선순환 생태계 확장에 기여하고 다양한 협력활동을 추진할 것"이라고 했다.
