로이터,하나 바카라오픈AI 새 프로젝트 문서 입수[이데일리 경계영 기자] 챗GPT를 개발한 오픈AI가 코드명‘스트로베리’(Strawberry·딸기)로 새로운 인공지능(AI) 기술 개발에 돌입했다고 로이터통신이 12일(현지시간) 단독 보도했다.

로이터가 입수한 내부 문서를 보면 오픈AI는 AI 모델에 대한 새로운 접근 방식을 개발하고 있다.

문서에 따르면 스트로베리 프로젝트는 AI가 질문에 대한 답을 생성할 뿐 아니라 인터넷을 자율적으로 탐색해 오픈AI가‘심층 연구’(deep research)라고 부르는 기능을 수행하는 데 목표가 맞춰졌다.이같은 고급 추론 기능은 지금까지 AI가 하지 못했던 것으로 전해졌다.

다만 오픈AI는 “AI 모델이 우리처럼 세상을 보고 이해하길 바란다”며 “새로운 AI 기능에 대한 연구는 일반적인 것”이라고만 입장을 밝혔다.
