AI 열풍에 해외주식형 펀드 순유입↑

[연합뉴스 제공] 최근 뉴욕증시가 주요 기술주 랠리에 힘입어 연일 사상 최고가를 기록하는 가운데 올 상반기 국내 해외주식형 펀드에 8조원 가량이 순유입된 것으로 나타났다.상장지수펀드(ETF) 규모 성장도 해외주식 투자심리가 견인했다.

10일 금융투자협회가 발표한 '2024년 상반기 펀드시장 동향'에 따르면 6월 말 기준 공모·사모펀드 순자산총액은 1069조5000억원으로 집계됐다.이는 전년말 대비 98조1000억원(10.1%) 증가한 수치다.

이 가운데 전통자산에 투자하는 주식형(18조6000억원)과 채권형(18조7000억원) 펀드의 성장이 두드러졌다.

특히 해외주식형 펀드에 7.9조원의 자금이 순유입되며,순자산총액은 전년말 대비 16조원(39.4%) 증가한 56.7조원을 기록했다.

인공지능(AI) 열풍 속 반도체 관련주의 가치가 크게 오른 데다가 팬데믹 이후 글로벌 경기가 연착륙하면서 투자심리가 개선됐다는 분석이다.

인플레이션(물가 상승) 둔화가 확인되면서 국내 금리 인하 전망이 확대됨에 따라 국내채권에 투자하는 펀드에도 14조4000억원의 자금이 순유입됐다.순자산총액은 전년말 대비 17조3000억원(13.1%) 증가한 149.2조원이다.

상장지수펀드(ETF)의 성장세도 눈에 띈다.

이 기간 주식형 및 채권형 공모펀드는 지난 2020년 말 대비 순자산총액이 각각 35조4000억원(49.0%),포모스 코인판 브라보여주는24조7000억원(74.1%) 성장했는데,포모스 코인판 브라보여주는대부분 ETF가 성장을 견인했다.

ETF를 제외하면 주식형 공모펀드는 2020년 같은 기간에 비해 오히려 2조원(-5.0%) 가량 수축했고,포모스 코인판 브라보여주는채권형 공모펀드는 1조3000원(5.0%) 소폭 증가에 그쳤다.

주식형 ETF에서 해외주식형의 비중은 약 41%에 달한다.

이창화 금융투자협회 자산운용·부동산 본부장(전무)은 "공모펀드 경쟁력 제고 및 자본시장 밸류업 등을 추진하고 있다"며 "협회는 정부와 함께 국민재산 형성을 위해 부단히 노력하겠다"고 전했다.
