(서울=연합뉴스) 김주환 기자 = 넥슨은 미국 게임사 띠어리크래프트 게임즈가 개발 중인 PC 게임 신작 '프로젝트 로키' 정식 명칭이 '슈퍼바이브'로 확정됐다고 26일 밝혔다.

'슈퍼바이브'는 탑뷰 시점에서 캐릭터를 조종해 다른 이용자들과 대결하는 액션 게임으로,일본 야구 선발점프와 글라이더 활공을 활용해 펼치는 공중 전투가 특징이다.

띠어리크래프트 게임즈는 라이엇게임즈,일본 야구 선발블리자드 엔터테인먼트 등 글로벌 유명 게임사에서 리그 오브 레전드(LoL)·발로란트·오버워치 개발 및 서비스에 참여한 베테랑 제작진을 주축으로 2020년 설립된 게임사다.

넥슨은 지난 4월 띠어리크래프트 게임즈와 퍼블리싱 계약을 체결하고 '슈퍼바이브'의 한국·일본 지역 서비스 권한을 획득했다.

넥슨은 게임을 순차적으로 이용자들에게 소개하고 향후 한국 및 일본 지역 서비스 일정을 공개할 계획이다.
