검찰동우회가 입장문을 내고 "민주당의 검찰 탄핵소추안 발의는 직권남용"이라며 이를 즉각 철회할 것을 촉구했다.

3일 법조계에 따르면 검찰동우회(회장 한상대)는 입장문을 내고 “민주당의 이재명 대표를 수사 및 기소한 검사들에 대한 탄핵소추는 명백한 위법으로 국회의원 신분을 이용한 직권남용”이라며 이같이 밝혔다.

탄핵 사유에 근거가 없다는 점도 짚었다.검찰동우회는 “억지 논리를 앞세워 이재명 담당검사들에 대한 탄핵소추를 하고 이를 공개함은 검사들에 대한 명예훼손이자 불법행위”라며 강하게 비판했다.

이어 탄핵소추 철회를 거듭 강조했다.그러면서 “이번 검사들에 대한 탄핵소추는 그 부당함이 명백하므로 헌법재판소는이를 즉각 기각하고,psg 대 몽펠리에법원은 이재명사건을 신속히 재판하여 헌법상의 삼권분립 원칙에 따른 사법부의 입법독주에 대한 견제역할을 충실히 해야 한다”라며 “검찰은 민주당의 파렴치한 검찰말살,psg 대 몽펠리에검사겁박 행태에 단호히 대응할 것을 강력히 촉구한다”고 밝혔다.
