당시 A 씨는 갓길에 차량을 정차한 채 잠을 자고 있다가 신고를 받고 출동한 경찰로부터 음주 측정 요구를 받았습니다.

이에 대해 남원시는 본인이 술을 마시지 않았다고 주장하고 있어 무죄추정 원칙에 따라 일단 인사를 했다고 해명했습니다.

남원시 관계자는 현재 수사 중인 사안으로 결론이 나지 않았는데 미리 불이익을 줄 수 없다고 판단했다면서 수사 결과가 나오면 그때 가서 합당한 징계 등을 할 방침이라고 전했습니다.
