근로복지공단,슬롯 커뮤 모바일부상자 6명에도 산재 신속승인해 치료·휴업급여 지원 중

(세종=뉴스1) 나혜윤 기자 = 지난달 24일 발생한 경기 화성시 아리셀 공장 화재사고로 사망한 근로자 1명의 유가족에게 유족급여 신청 승인이 이뤄지면서 3일 첫 유족연금이 지급됐다.

근로복지공단에 따르면 공단은 사고 사망자 23명 중 1명의 유가족이 전날(2일) 제출한 유족급여 신청에 대해 이날 오후 5시께 승인 완료돼 첫 유족연금이 지급됐다고 밝혔다.

사망자 유족급여 신청 승인은 신청일로부터 10일 이내에 처리하게 돼 있으나,슬롯 커뮤 모바일이번 신청은 조속히 처리된 것이라고 공단은 설명했다.공단은 부상자 8명 중 6명에 대해서도 산재를 신속히 승인해 치료 및 휴업급여를 지원하고 있다.

공단은 화재사고 발생 후 '화성 화재사고 신속보상TF'를 설치하고,슬롯 커뮤 모바일상담부스 및 1:1 현장지원단을 통해 유가족들을 위한 산재보상 상담 및 지원을 실시 중이다.

박종길 이사장은 "화성시 화재사고 희생자 및 가족에게 깊은 애도와 유감의 뜻을 전한다"면서 "신속한 산재 처리 및 유족보상을 통해 아픔을 덜어드릴 수 있도록 하겠다"라고 밝혔다.
