(서울=연합뉴스) 이재영 기자 = '골프붐'에 전국 골프장이 555곳으로 늘었지만,쉬페르리그 경기농약을 쓰지 않고 잔디를 관리하는 곳은 2곳뿐인 것으로 것으로 나타났다.

28일 국립환경과학원에 따르면 2022년 기준 전국 골프장 555곳에서 사용된 농약은 총 208.2t이었다.과학원이 조사를 시작한 2011년부터 10년간 늘기만 한 골프장 농약 사용량은 2022년 처음으로 전년(골프장 546곳·213.7t)보다 2.6% 감소했다.

1㏊당 농약 사용량도 2022년 6.84㎏로 2021년(7.17㎏)보다 4.6% 줄었다.

다만,10여년 전과 비교하면 골프장 수도,농약 사용량도 늘었다.

2010년 기준 골프장 수는 396곳,쉬페르리그 경기골프장 농약 사용량은 115.8t으로 2022년까지 12년 사이 골프장 수는 40.2%,쉬페르리그 경기농약 사용량은 79.8% 늘어났다.

전국 골프장 그린·페어웨이와 연못과 물 유출구에서 연 2회 잔류농약을 확인한 결과 94.6%인 525곳에서 잔디·수목용 농약 18종이 검출됐다.2021년에는 546곳 중 522곳(95.6%)에서 잔류농약이 나왔다.맹·고독성 농약은 검출되지 않았다.

제주 에코랜드GC와 경남 의령친환경골프장은 농약을 치지 않고 잔디를 관리했다.두 곳은 2021년에도 농약을 사용하지 않는 '유이'한 골프장이었다.

1㏊당 농약 사용량이 적은 골프장은 전남 에덴CC(0.01㎏),제주 레이크힐스 제주CC(0.95㎏),충북 천룡골프장(1.03㎏)이었다.이들 골프장은 3년 연속 '농약 저사용 골프장'에 꼽혔다.
