14일 국가종합전자조달시스템인 나라장터에 따르면 서울교통공사는 서울 지하철 1~8호선의‘휠체어 리프트’철거를 위한 입찰 공고를 냈다.

공사 대상은 서울역과 신설동역,구 로또넘버용답역,구 로또넘버창동역,구 로또넘버서대문역 등 17개 역사에 설치된 휠체어 리프트 23대다.이는 현재 서울교통공사가 관리하는 지하철 역사에 설치된 휠체어 리프트 총 103대 중 약 4분의1에 해당한다.공사 관계자는 “‘1역사 1동선’사업이 진행됨에 따라 동선 확보가 완료된 곳은 승객 안전과 충분한 이동 동선 확보를 위해 리프트를 철거할 예정”이라고 설명했다.1역사 1동선은 교통약자가 지하철을 이용하기 위해 외부에서 승강장까지 이동할 때 다른 사람의 도움 없이 엘리베이터로 이동할 수 있는 동선을 말한다.다만 일부 역사는 휠체어 리프트를 철거할 경우 이동 동선이 지나치게 길어지는 사례도 있어 협의를 거쳐 리프트를 철거할 계획이다.

현재 서울교통공사가 담당하는 구간 275개 역 중 1역사 1동선이 확보된 역은 263개(95.6%)다.공사는 연말까지 1역사 1동선을 100% 완료할 계획이다.
