방통위원장 인사청문회 때 배우자 의혹 제기

이동관 측 "일방적 주장 악의적 보도" 주장…5억 손배소

이동관 전 방송통신위원장이 배우자 청탁 의혹을 보도한 방송사를 상대로 제기한 손해배상 청구 소송 1심에서 패소했다.

서울중앙지법 민사합의25부(부장 송승우)는 28일 이 전 위원장이 우장균 전 YTN 사장과 소속 기자 등을 상대로 낸 5억 원 상당의 손해배상 청구 소송에서 원고 패소 판결했다.재판부는 법정에서 선고 이유를 밝히지는 않았다.

YTN은 이 전 위원장이 방통위원장 후보자 신분이었던 지난해 8월 이 전 위원장의 배우자가 지난 2010년 인사청탁과 관련해 금품을 받고 이를 두 달 뒤에 이를 돌려줬다는 의혹을 보도했다.

이에 이 전 위원장은 "YTN이 일방적인 주장만을 악의적으로 보도했다"며 YTN 관계자들을 경찰에 고소하고,토큰 게임 룰렛이들을 상대로 손해배상 청구 소송을 제기했다.
