[파이낸셜뉴스] 한국 국가경쟁력이 20위로 '역대 최고'를 기록했다.특히 기업 효율성은 10계단이나 올라,국가경쟁력 상승에 일조했다.다만 정부 효율은 하락했다.

기획재정부에 따르면 스위스 국제경영개발대학원(IMD)는 18일 이같은 내용의 '2024년 국가경쟁력 평가 결과'를 발표했다.

IMD는 경제협력개발기구(OECD) 회원국과 신흥국 등을 대상으로 매년 6월 세계경쟁력연감을 발표한다.국가경쟁력은 기업을 경영하기 좋은 환경을 만들어 줄 수 있는 역량을 평가한다.

IMD 조사결과에 따르면 우리나라의 국가경쟁력 순위는 올해 20위로 집계돼 2023년(28위)보다 8계단 올랐다.1997년 평가 대상에 포함된 이래 최고 순위다.

우리나라는 국민소득 3만달러·인구 5000만 이상 국가인 '30-50클럽' 7개국 가운데서 미국에 이어 두 번째다.
