삼성전자 스마트폰이 오는 26일(현지시간) 열리는 파리 올림픽 개막식을 생중계한다.박정미 삼성전자 MX사업부 마케팅팀 상무는 최근 프랑스 파리에서 국제올림픽위원회(IOC) 공식 파트너로서 삼성전자의 파트너십 활동을 소개했다.

삼성전자는 올림픽 역사상 최초의 야외 개막식에서 갤럭시 S24 울트라로 올림픽 중계를 선보인다.개회식에서 각국 선수 5000여명이 94척의 배를 타고 센강을 건너는 수상 퍼레이드가 펼쳐지는데,룩삼 퍼스트테이크 월드컵배에 설치된 200대 이상의 갤럭시 S24 울트라가 이 장면을 실시간으로 담는다.

지난 10일 공개된 폴더블 신제품 갤럭시 Z플립6는 폴더블 인공지능(AI) 기능을 앞세워 각국 선수단을 지원한다.앞서 삼성전자는 파리 올림픽과 패럴림픽에 참가하는 약 1만7000여명의 선수단에게 갤럭시 Z플립6 올림픽 에디션을 제공할 것이라고 밝힌 바 있다.선수들은 갤럭시 AI가 제공하는‘인스턴트 슬로모’기능으로 운동 자세를 분석할 수 있다.내외부 화면을 모두 사용한 실시간 통역으로 다른 국가의 선수나 자원봉사자들과 자유롭게 소통도 가능하다.

삼성전자는 이번 올림픽에 전 세계 24개국,룩삼 퍼스트테이크 월드컵63명으로 구성된 역대 최대 규모의‘팀 삼성 갤럭시’선수단을 구성했다.삼성이 선정하는 선수단은 삼성전자 공식 홍보대사로 임명돼 삼성이 주최하는 행사나 마케팅 활동에 참여한다.이번 선수단의 패럴림픽 선수 비율은 약 30%이며,서핑·브레이킹·스케이트보드 등 3대 스포츠 비중이 50% 이상으로 늘었다.한국 선수는 손흥민(축구),룩삼 퍼스트테이크 월드컵신유빈(탁구),안세영(배드민턴),룩삼 퍼스트테이크 월드컵김희진(골볼),룩삼 퍼스트테이크 월드컵서채현(스포츠 클라이밍) 등이 포함됐다.
