제주항에 정박 중인 크루즈 선에서 불이 나 진화 작업이 이뤄지고 있습니다.

제주해양경찰서에 따르면 오늘(14일) 오전 8시 37분쯤 제주항 8부두에 정박 중이던 8만 5천 톤급 크루즈 선 '아도라메디테라니아호' 기관실에서 불이 났다는 신고가 해경에 접수됐습니다.

해경은 소방당국과 함께 화재 진압에 나섰지만,아직까지 피해 상황은 확인되지 않고 있습니다.

해당 선박은 중국 톈진에서 출발해 일본 후쿠오카로 향하는 크루즈 선으로,데이터스크럽승객과 승무원 등 2천4백여 명이 타 있는 것으로 파악됐습니다.

해경 관계자는 "VTS(해양교통관제센터)를 통해 신고가 접수됐다"며 "화재 진압을 벌이고 있다"고 말했습니다.
