광주형 청년일자리 공제

청년이 500만 원 모으면 시·기업이 500만 원 지원

광주시는‘광주형 청년일자리 공제 사업’을 추진한다고 19일 밝혔다.지역 중소기업 재직 청년이 2년간 500만 원을 모으면 기업(200만 원)과 광주시(300만 원)가 500만 원을 추가 적립해 만기공제금 1000만 원을 만들어주는 사업이다.

청년들의 지역정착과 미취업 청년의 지역 중소기업 유입 촉진을 위해 도입했다.시는 올해 시비 2억 원을 투입해 청년 200명을 지원한다.내년에는 300명을 신규 모집해 매년 500명 규모의 청년을 지원할 계획이다.

지원 대상은 신청일 기준 고용보험 피보험자 수 5인 이상인 광주 지역 중소기업에 정규직으로 재직하고 있는 19∼39세 이하 광주 청년(월급여 중위소득 150% 이하)이다.정부 및 지방자치단체 주관 자산형성 지원사업에 참여 중인 청년이나 수혜자는 제외된다.

오인창 시 청년정책관은 "광주형 청년일자리 공제 사업은 지역 중소기업 재직 청년에게는 자산 형성을 지원하고 기업에게는 우수한 청년 인재의 장기근속을 통해 성장의 계기를 마련해주는 의미 있는 사업"이라고 말했다.
