검찰이 주차장에서 차량을 빼달라고 요구한 여성을 심하게 때려 갈비뼈를 부러뜨린 전직 보디빌더의 형량이 낮다며 항소했다.

5일 인천지검 공판송무2부(장진성 부장검사)는 최근 폭력행위 등 처벌에 관한 법률상 공동상해 등 혐의로 징역 2년을 선고받은 전직 보디빌더 A씨(39)의 1심 판결에 불복해 법원에 항소장을 제출했다고 밝혔다.

검찰은 “피고인은 피해자의 정당한 요구에도 말다툼하다가 중상을 입혔다”며 “피해자에게 침을 뱉는 등 모멸적인 행위도 서슴지 않았다”고 설명했다.

이어 “피해자가 여전히 엄벌을 탄원하고 있다”며 “원심이 선고한 형은 가벼워 더 무거운 형이 선고돼야 한다”고 항소 이유를 밝혔다.

앞서 검찰은 지난달 1일 열린 결심 공판에서 A씨에게 징역 3년6개월을 구형했다.

A씨는 이날 현재까지 항소하지 않았지만,20 무료 베팅검찰이 항소함에 따라 2심 재판도 인천지법에서 열릴 예정이다.

A씨는 지난해 5월 20일 오전 11시께 인천시 남동구 아파트 상가 주차장에서 30대 여성 B씨를 주먹과 발로 마구 때려 다치게 한 혐의로 기소됐다.

B씨는 자신의 차량을 A씨 차량이 막고 있자 빼달라고 요구했다가 폭행당했고,20 무료 베팅갈비뼈가 부러지는 등 전치 6주의 병원 진단을 받았다.

A씨는 지난해 경찰 수사 당시 법원에서 구속 영장이 기각되면서 불구속 상태로 재판에 넘겨졌으나 지난달 31일 1심에서 징역 2년을 선고받고 사건 발생 1년여만에 법정에서 구속됐다.

사건 현장에 함께 있던 A씨 아내도 지난해 공동상해 혐의로 함께 형사 입건됐지만 임신한 상태여서 경찰 조사를 받지 않았다.

경찰은 A씨 아내가 출산한 사실을 최근 확인한 만큼 조만간 소환해 조사할 방침이다.

전직 보디빌더인 A씨는 사건 발생 후 운영하던 체육관을 폐업한 것으로 알려졌다.
