'코퍼레이트센터' 신설…전략·재무·기업문화·구매 등 전사 지원업무 총괄

SK하이닉스는 24일 최고경영자(CEO) 지원 조직인 '코퍼레이트 센터'(Corporate Center)를 신설하고 송현종(59) 담당을 사장으로 선임했다고 밝혔다.

코퍼레이트 센터는 CEO 직속으로,전략,재무,기업문화,구매 부문 등의 지원 업무를 통합 조율한다고 SK하이닉스는 부연했다.

SK하이닉스는 "글로벌 인공지능(AI) 반도체 시장에서의 위상이 높아지고 CEO 역할도 확대되고 있는 만큼 곽노정 대표이사 사장(CEO)의 의사결정을 지원하기 위해 신설했다"고 밝혔다.

다음 달 1일자로 코퍼레이트 센터 담당을 맡는 송 신임 사장은 그동안 분산돼있던 조직들의 의사결정이나 업무 내용을 하나로 모아 곽 사장에게 직접 전달하는 역할을 할 것으로 알려졌다.

송 사장은 SK㈜에서 SK그룹의 반도체 사업 관련 의사결정 지원과 인사이트 제공 업무를 수행해 왔다.

그는 서울대 경제학과 출신으로,응답하라 로또지난 2003년 SK텔레콤에 입사해 IR실장,응답하라 로또성장전략그룹장,미래경영실장,경영지원단장을 역임했다.

이어 2012년 SK하이닉스로 이동해 미래전략본부장,마케팅·영업 담당 등을 맡았다.

송 사장은 경영 전반에 대한 지식과 경험이 풍부하다는 평가를 받고 있다.
