[서울=뉴시스] 이혜원 기자 = 조 바이든 미국 대통령이 2024 대선 토론회에서 처참하게 패배했다는 평가가 나오는 가운데,한국 월드컵 예선민주당 유권자 10명 중 6명이 민주당 후보를 교체해야 한다고 생각하는 것으로 나타났다.

29일(현지시각) 미국 액시오스에 따르면 전날 발표된 유권자 2068명 대상 모닝컨설트 여론조사에서 응답자 59%가 민주당 대선 후보가 교체돼야 한다고 답했다.

민주당원 21%는 바이든을 "절대 교체해선 안 된다"고 답했다.20%는 "아마 교체돼선 안 될 것"이라고 했다.

토론을 시청한 응답자 중 57%는 트럼프가 바이든보다 더 나은 성적을 거뒀다고 답했다.여기엔 민주당 지지자 19%,한국 월드컵 예선무소속 60%,한국 월드컵 예선공화당 지지자 93%가 포함됐다.

토론 시청자 78%는 바이든이 너무 늙었다고 답했다.토론 전 조사에선 전체 유권자의 64%가 같은 질문에 긍정했다.

바이든 대통령과 공화당 후보 도널드 트럼프 전 대통령 중 선택하라고 한 질문엔 45%가 바이든을,한국 월드컵 예선44%가 트럼프 전 대통령을 골랐다.

트럼프 전 대통령이 성 추문 입막음 의혹 비자금 형사 재판에서 유죄 평결을 받은 이후 실시한 여론조사 결과와 비슷하다고 액시오스는 전했다.

세스 슈스테르 바이든 캠프 대변인은 여전히 트럼프를 1%p 차로 앞서고 있다며 "바이든은 사퇴하지 않을 것"이라고 일축했다．
