[헤럴드경제=김용재 기자] 서울 동대문구 장안동 아파트에서 불을 지른 30대 남성이 경찰에 긴급 체포됐다.

15일 경찰에 따르면 서울 동대문경찰서는 현주건조물방화 혐의를 받는 30대 남성 황모씨를 긴급 체포했다.

황씨는 전날 오후 8시 9분쯤 장안동의 21층짜리 아파트 9층에서 옷가지에 라이터로 불을 붙이는 방식으로 방화를 저지른 혐의를 받는다.

황씨는 범행 당시 술에 취한 상태였으며 신변을 비관해 이 같은 일을 저지른 것으로 조사됐다.

황씨는 평소 불안장애와 우울증으로 병원에서 치료를 받아온 것으로 알려졌다.

불은 1시간 만에 진화됐으며,복싱칼로리이번 화재로 주민 132명이 대피하고 1명이 연기를 마셔 병원으로 이송됐다.

경찰 관계자는 “황씨를 상대로 구체적인 사건 경위 등을 조사하고 있다”며 “오늘 중 구속영장을 신청할 예정”이라고 말했다.
