광양 제1LNG터미널은 국가 기간산업을 위해 발전용과 공정용 천연가스를 공급할 뿐만 아니라,야구 현장판매포스코,야구 현장판매S-OIL,야구 현장판매SK E&S 등 이용사가 직도입한 천연가스를 하역,야구 현장판매저장,기화,송출하는 종합 서비스를 제공할 예정입니다.

포스코인터내셔널은 이에 더해 인접 부지에 총 9천300억원을 투자해 20만㎘급 LNG탱크 2기를 증설하는 광양 제2LNG터미널도 공사 중입니다.

포스코인터내셔널은 광양 제2LNG터미널이 완공되는’26년을 기점으로 총 133만㎘의 LNG 저장 용량을 확보하게 된다.이는 전 국민이 40일 동안 사용 가능한 난방용 가스 저장 용량입니다.
