[부산=뉴시스] 부산 자율주행 셔틀 서비스 개념 *재판매 및 DB 금지

[부산=뉴시스]권태완 기자 = 부산시는 내년 하반기에 자율주행 자동차 시범운행지구로 지정된 기장군 오시리아 관광단지 일원에서 '자율주행 셔틀버스'를 운행한다고 28일 밝혔다.

지난 2022년 11월 국토교통부는 '자율주행 자동차 시범운행지구'로 부산 오시리아 관광단지 일원을 지정·고시했다.

시는 총사업비 94억원을 투입해 오시리아 관광단지 일원 6개 도로(총 4.75㎞)에 자율주행 셔틀버스 4대를 운영할 계획이다.

자율주행 셔틀버스는 탑승객 등의 안전성 확보를 위해 시험운전자가 탑승해 시스템 요청 시 운전자가 개입하는 방식으로 운행된다.

운행구간에는 차량과 도로 관제를 위한 정밀지도 기반 관제 플랫폼과 신호 상태,미토마 나이돌발,미토마 나이보행자 정보를 수집·제공하는 스마트 도로를 구축해 자율주행 셔틀버스의 안전 운행을 지원한다.

자율주행 여객 서비스는 시뮬레이션과 테스트베드,미토마 나이시운전,미토마 나이시범운행 등을 거쳐 2025년 하반기에 운영될 방침이다.

시는 경쟁입찰을 통해 LG유플러스 컨소시엄을 사업자로 선정하고,미토마 나이다음달부터 용역에 착수해 내년 12월까지 오시리아 관광단지 일원에 자율주행 서비스를 위한 기반 조성 및 시범운행 등 사업의 전반적인 내용을 수행할 예정이다.

권기혁 시 교통정책과장은 "이번 사업이 대중교통 친화형 15분 정책과 발맞춰 시범 운영에 그치지 않고 부산 대중교통의 한 축으로 자리매김해 미래 대중교통 도시 실현에 이바지하길 기대한다"고 말했다.
