최수연 네이버 대표,쾰른 대성당7월2일 과방위 전체회의 증인 채택

[디지털데일리 이나연기자] 네이버 라인야후 사태 관련해 과학기술정보통신부와 야당 간 설전이 벌어졌다.야당은 정부가 이번 사태에 있어 실질적인 대응이 없다고 꼬집었지만,쾰른 대성당과기정통부는 네이버가 자율적인 판단을 해야 한다고 재차 강조했다.

25일 국회 과학기술정보방송통신위원회(과방위) 소속 이해민 의원(조국혁신당)은 이날 서울 여의도 국회에서 열린 과방위 전체회의에서 강도현 과기정통부 2차관에 “브리핑 말고 어떤 실질적인 대응을 했느냐”라고 물었다.

강도현 2차관은 “제 브리핑 이후에도 대통령실에서 두 차례 브리핑이 있었다”며 “(과기정통부는) 네이버가 자율적인 판단을 할 수 있는 환경을 만드는 게 중요하다고 본다”라고 답했다.

강 차관은 앞서 지난달 10일 라인야후 사태 관련 브리핑을 열고 “우리 기업에 대한 차별적 조치와 기업 의사에 반한 부당한 조치에 대해서는 단호하고 강력하게 대응하겠다”라고 밝힌 바 있다.

한편,쾰른 대성당국회 과방위는 라인야후 사태 관련 현안 질의를 위해 최수연 네이버 대표를 다음달 2일 열리는 전체회의 증인으로 채택했다.

최 대표는 이날도 과방위 전체회의 참고인으로 참석해 라인야후에 대한 네이버 입장을 질의 받을 예정이었지만,쾰른 대성당일정상 이유로 불참했다.

네이버 노조는‘라인 외교 참사의 나비효과’긴급 토론회를 통해 라인야후 지분매각 반대 의사를 재강조했다.

오세윤 네이버 노조 지회장은 “지분 매각 당사자가 될 수 있는 경영진이 이 문제에 대해 명확한 입장을 밝히지 않는 것이 매우 아쉽다”라고 말했다.
