공원에서 산책 중이던 60대 여성이 전동킥보드에 치여 숨진 사실이 뒤늦게 알려졌습니다.

경기 일산동부경찰서는 지난달 8일 오후 7시 반쯤 경기 고양시 일산호수공원에서 60대 부부가 뒤에서 달려오던 전동킥보드에 치이는 사고가 났다고 오늘(16일) 밝혔습니다.

아내가 머리를 심하게 다쳐 병원으로 옮겨졌지만,코파 아메리카 아시안컵끝내 숨졌습니다.남편은 경상을 입고 병원에서 치료를 받고 있습니다.

당시 킥보드 한 대에 고등학생 2명이 함께 타고 있었는데,공원 내 자전거도로에서 자전거를 피하려다 부부를 친 거로 조사됐습니다.

경찰은 킥보드를 운전한 학생 1명을 교통사고처리 특례법상 업무상 과실치사상 혐의로 불구속 입건해 조사하고 있습니다.

경찰 관계자는 "공원 내 자전거 도로를 현행법상 도로로 볼 수 있는지에 대해 관계 기관에 질의를 넣은 상태"라며 "답변에 따라 적용된 혐의가 달라질 수 있다"고 말했습니다.
