12일 법조계에 따르면 오 전 시장은 3년의 형기를 마치고 오는 26일 오전 부산 사상구 부산구치소를 나온다.

오 전 시장은 2018년 11월과 12월 부산시청 직원 A씨를 강제추행한 데 이어 2020년 4월 다른 직원 B씨를 추행했다.

오 전 시장은 두 직원에게 외상후스트레스장애 등 상해를 입힌 혐의(강제추행치상 등)로 기소돼 1심과 항소심에서 징역 3년을 각각 선고받았다.오 전 시장이 상고를 포기하면서 형이 확정됐다.

오 전 시장은 2018년 8월부터 2019년 1월까지 부산시 산하 공공기관 6곳의 임직원 9명에게 사직서 제출을 종용한 혐의(직권남용권리행사방해)로 기소돼 올해 1월 항소심에서 징역 1년6개월에 집행유예 2년을 선고받았다.

이 사건도 대법원이 지난달 30일 오 전 시장과 검찰의 상고를 모두 기각해 형이 확정됐다.
