[서울=뉴시스] 조현아 기자 = 서울 중구는 올 여름부터 주민 신청을 받아 '찾아가는 살수차'를 투입한다고 24일 밝혔다.살수차로 물을 뿌려 도심 열섬현상을 예방하고,아마두 오나나최근 폭증하고 있는 일명 '러브버그'(붉은등우단털파리) 퇴치에도 나선다는 방침이다.

구는 주로 간선도로와 이면도로에만 살수차를 투입해 폭염에 달궈진 도로를 식혔다.올해부터는 찾아가는 살수차를 운영해 주민이 원하는 곳이라면 골목길이나 시장까지도 물을 뿌려준다는 계획이다.

특히 러브버그가 물을 싫어하는 습성을 감안해 러브버그가 많이 출몰하는 곳에 물을 뿌려 주민 불편을 해소한다는 계획이다.

운영 기간은 7월부터 9월까지다.동주민센터나 구청 청소행정과에 신청하면 날짜와 시간 등 조율을 거쳐 살수차가 해당 지역에 출동한다.

주민 수요를 감안해 살수차 5대를 민간에서 추가로 확보해 총 13대의 살수차를 가동한다.폭염특보 발효 시에는 주민 신청이 없더라고 13대의 살수차가 골목 골목을 누비며 열기를 가라앉힌다.

김길성 중구청장은 "언제나 든든한 내편중구라는 중구의 정책 브랜드에 걸맞게 찾아가는 살수차를 운영해 무더위와 러브버그를 한 번에 해결할 것"이라고 말했다．
