(전주=연합뉴스) 임채두 기자 = 인천의 한 아파트 지하 주차장에서 발생한 전기차 화재로 대규모 피해가 발생한 가운데 전북특별자치도가 청사 지하 주차장의 전기차 충전소를 지상으로 옮긴다.

14일 전북도에 따르면 청사 지하 주차장의 전기차 충전시설은 19개다.

7kW(킬로와트) 용량의 완속 충전시설로 지하 주차장 서편에 있다.

이 중 9개를 이달 중 지상 주차장으로 옮기고 충전시설 안내판 등을 설치할 예정이다.

나머지 10개는 폐쇄된다.

대신 오는 10월에 환경부 공모사업을 신청해 지상 주차장에 급속(50∼100kW) 충전시설 4대를 확충하고,벳365코리아 먹튀추후 자체 예산이나 부처 공모를 통해 6대를 더 늘린다는 계획이다.

전북도 관계자는 "최근 인천과 충남 지역 지하 주차장에서 발생한 전기차 화재가 사회적 이슈가 되고 있다"며 "지하에서 전기차 화재가 발생하면 대규모 피해가 우려되기 때문에 충전시설 이전을 추진하는 것"이라고 말했다.
