대만의 문화부장관 격인 문화부장이 “한류는 쇠퇴하고 있다.이제는‘대류(台流·대만 웨이브)’차례”라고 주장했다.

중국시보 등 대만언론이 25일 보도한 내용에 따르면 리위안 문화부장은 전날 취임 한 달을 맞아 진행한 언론 인터뷰에서 이렇게 언급했다.

리 부장은 “한류를 정말 많이 도와준 것은 대만”이라고 주장했다.이어 “2000년을 전후해 대만 TV 업계는 모두 한국 드라마를 구매했고 저녁에 TV를 켜면 한국 드라마로 뒤덮였다”고 언급했다.

아울러 “과거에는 대만의 드라마와 영화가 한국에 비해 20년 쯤 뒤처졌지만 최근 대만의 분위기가 바뀌고 있다”며 “한류(韓流·코리안 웨이브)는 쇠퇴하고 있다.이제‘대류’의 차례라고 여긴다”고 주장했다.

그는 또 “대만의 중·청년층 감독들이 대거 등장하고 있다는 것을 몸으로 느낀다”며 “이제 한국 드라마를 사 오던‘풍조’를 바꿀 때가 됐다”고 강조했다.

그러면서 “대만 감독을 지원하기 위한‘승풍파랑’(乘風破浪·바람을 타고 물결을 헤쳐 나간다) 프로젝트를 선보일 계획이다.많은 대만 감독이 만든 다양한 주제의 우수 작품이 올해 선보일 예정”이라고 설명했다.

리 부장은 “2008년 웨이더성 감독 영화‘하이자오 7번지’(海角7號) 개봉으로 대만 영화가 관심을 모았는데 이제 대만 영화와 TV가 또 다른 전성기를 맞이할 것”이라고 덧붙였다.
