한국조세재정연구원 주최로 서울 여의도 FKI 타워에서 열린 '밸류업 세제 지원 공청회'에서 심충진 건국대 경영학과 교수는 "한국의 상속세 최고세율은 50%로 일본에 이어 두 번째로 높은 수준"이라면서 이같이 주장했습니다.

심 교수는 "현재 최고 50%인 우리나라 상속세율을 경제협력개발기구의 상속세 평균 세율이 26%인 점을 감안해 최고세율을 30%로 낮추자"고 말했습니다.

아울러 상속세법 최고 세율이 조정된 2000년부터 작년까지 명목 국내총생산이 255% 늘어난 점을 반영해 과표 구간을 지금보다 3배씩 높일 것을 제안했습니다.

심 교수가 제시한 방안대로라면 상속세 과표 구간 3억 원 이하는 6%,컴퓨터 ssd 슬롯 확인3억 원 초과 15억 원 이하 구간은 12%,컴퓨터 ssd 슬롯 확인15억 원 초과 30억 원 이하 구간은 18%,30억 원 초과 90억 원 이하 구간은 24%,90억 원 초과는 30%의 세율이 각각 적용됩니다.
