[헤럴드경제(안동)=김병진 기자]이철우 경북지사의 저출생 극복 일본 특사단이 저출생 극복 우수 지자체로 주목받고 있는 일본 돗토리현과 나기초를 방문해 저출생 극복 사례를 벤치마킹하고 양 지자체 간 상호 협력을 추진한다.

25일 경북도에 따르면 전날 김민석 정책실장,카메룬 축구선수안성렬 저출생극복본부장 등이 3박 4일 일정으로 일본을 방문했다.이번 방문은 지난달 27일 이철우 지사와 히라이 신지 돗토리현 지사의 저출생 극복 협력 전화 통화 후 후속 조치다.

특사단은 25일 돗토리현 히라이 신지 지사를 예방해 저출생 극복 및 경제,카메룬 축구선수문화 등 여러 분야 교류 협력 확대를 위한 자매결연 추진 서한문을 전달했다.

이후 히라이 신지 지사가 주재하는 돗토리현 저출생 대책 전문가 회의에 참석해 아이가정부장을 만나 양 지자체의 저출생 추진전략을 공유하고 저출생 극복 국제포럼 공동 개최를 협의하는 등 저출생 극복 협력체계 구축 및 협업방안을 논의했다.

26일에는 출산율 2.95 반등의 기적을 이룬 산골마을 나기초의 '시고토스탠드'일자리 편의점을 방문했다.

경력단절여성에게 일자리를 제공하는 일자리 편의점은 일본 내에서도 5~6곳의 지자체가 도입했으며 경북도 이를 벤치마킹해 올 하반기부터 '경북도 일자리 편의점'을 시범 운영할 계획으로 1호점은 구미에 구축한다.

나기초에서 무료로 운영하는 어린이집인 '나기 차일드 홈'도 방문해 공동육아 운영 방식과 마을 어른들이 아이들을 돌봐주는 '스마이루(smile)'등의 우수정책 사례를 배웠다.
