삼성서울병원 성균관의대 교수들이 무기한 휴진 계획을 유예하기로 했습니다.

삼성병원 교수들은 지난 20일부터 전날까지 병원 휴진 여부에 대해 설문조사한 결과,패트릭 뱀퍼드응답한 502명의 교수 가운데 절반 이상의 휴진 지지가 있었다고 오늘(25일) 밝혔습니다.

다만 교수들은 "일정 기간 이상의 휴진 추진 시 환자들이 겪을 불편과 불안감에 대한 고려가 매우 중요함을 공감하며 휴진 조치를 일시적으로 유예했다"고 밝혔습니다.

그러면서 "전공의나 의대생,패트릭 뱀퍼드교수들에 대한 부당한 처벌이나 잘못된 의대증원 정책에 대한 수정 시행이 없을 경우 전면적인 무기한 휴진을 추진하겠다"는 입장을 내비쳤습니다.

앞서 이른바 빅5 병원 가운데 서울대병원과 서울성모병원이 휴진을 하지 않겠다고 선언한 이후 세번째로 휴진 중단을 결정한 겁니다.

연세의료원 산하 세브란스병원 3곳은 오는 27일 무기한 휴진에 돌입하기로 한 상태입니다.서울아산병원은 다음달 4일 휴진을 한다고 밝혔지만 현재 휴진을 두고 내부 논의에 나선 것으로 알려졌습니다.
