이들은 이날 오후 대전시의회 로비에서 합동 기자회견을 열고 "A의원은 이미 지난해 성희롱 사건으로 징계를 받았음에도 불구하고 또 다시 동일한 범죄를 저지르는 파렴치한 행동을 반복했다"며 이같이 요구했다.

이어 "상습 성추행으로 경찰에 고소된 것은 명백한 권력형 성범죄이며 용서 받을 수 없는 중범죄임이 자명하다"면서 "시민의 대표로서 자격을 완전히 상실한 A시의원의 즉각적인 자진사퇴를 강력히 촉구하며,영 블랙잭 7화대전시의회도 즉시 윤리위원회를 열어 제명 절차에 돌입하라"고 촉구했다.

그러면서 "권력형 성범죄에 대한 무거움을 새겨 권력형 성범죄에 대한 무관용 원칙을 천명하며 수사 기관,영 블랙잭 7화사법 기관에서도 강력한 처벌로 사회 기강을 확립해 달라"고 요구했다.

한편 A시의원은 선거캠프의 여직원에 대한 강제추행 혐의로 전날 대덕경찰서에 고소장이 접수된 것으로 전해졌다．
