(서울=연합뉴스) 박상돈 기자 = 중소벤처기업부는 공정거래위원회와 27일 서초구 한국벤처캐피탈협회에서 열린 CVC 협의회의 2분기 정례회의에 참석해 국내 CVC 현황과 정책 방향에 대해 논의했다고 밝혔다.

CVC는 기업이 독립적인 벤처·스타트업에 투자하고자 설립 보유하는 기업형 벤처캐피털을 뜻한다.지난해 국내 벤처캐피털 359개 중 CVC는 98개로 파악됐다.

이 중 독점규제 및 공정거래에 관한 법률에 따라 일반지주회사가 소유한 CVC는 13개였다.

지난해 국내 CVC는 약 2조1천억원을 투자했다.이는 같은 기간 전체 벤처투자액 10조9천억원의 19% 수준이다.일반지주회사 CVC의 투자액은 1천764억원이었다.

김봉덕 중기부 벤처정책관은 "2021년 말 시행된 일반지주회사 CVC 제도에 힘입어 CVC가 벤처투자 시장에 안착 중이지만 본격적으로 활성화되려면 정부의 적극적인 역할이 필요하다"고 말했다.

이어 "앞으로 CVC 현황에 대한 통계를 반기 단위로 정례화하고 지난해 11월 개최한 글로벌 CVC 콘퍼런스를 확대하겠다"고 말했다.
