차량을 처음 공개한 지난달 27일부터 지난 7일까지 부산모빌리티쇼 기간 동안 르노코리아 부스와 전국 전시장에서 접수된 뉴 르노 그랑 콜레오스의 사전 예약 건수는 7135대다.

뉴 르노 그랑 콜레오스는 서울 성수에 위치한 플래그십 전시장 '르노 성수'를 비롯해 '스타필드수원점',프리미어리그 화질부산 '동래사업소',프리미어리그 화질'대전사업소' 등 전국 주요 거점에 오는 19일까지 전시된다.

개발 프로젝트 코드명 '오로라 1'로 알려졌던 뉴 르노 그랑 콜레오스는 르노 최초 SUV이자 가장 성공적인 글로벌 모델 중 하나인 콜레오스의 성공 신화를 계승한다.동급 최대 휠베이스(2800mm)와 CMA 플랫폼을 기반으로 차체의 18%를 초고강도 '핫 프레스 포밍(HPF)' 부품으로 구성한 게 특징이다.

하이브리드와 가솔린 2종으로 구성되며 르노 그룹 정통 스포츠카 브랜드 알핀(Alpine)에서 영감을 받은 최상위 트림 '에스프리 알핀'도 국내 시장에 새롭게 내놨다.E-Tech 하이브리드 시스템은 동급 최고 용량의 배터리(1.64kWh)에 하이브리드 전용 1.5리터 가솔린 터보 엔진과 멀티모드 오토 변속기를 결합했다.가솔린 모델 에스프리 알핀 트림의 경우 전륜구동 2WD 모델과 함께 4WD 모델도 판매한다.

가격과 주행 관련 정보는 아직 공개되지 않았다.르노코리아는 7월 중순 이후 가격 공개와 함께 전국 르노코리아 전시장에서 차량 전시와 본계약을 할 예정이다.
