[장수=뉴시스] 장수군청[장수=뉴시스]최정규 기자 = 전북 장수군은 번암면 수척마을이 '2025년 농어촌 취약지역 생활여건 개조사업' 공모사업에 선정됐다고 5일 밝혔다.

대통령 직속 지방시대위원회에서는 열악한 기반시설과 낙후된 생활환경을 가진 농어촌 취약지역의 생활여건을 개선하기 위해 2025년 농어촌 신규대상지를 공모 신청을 했고,2019년 8월 1일 야구 경기일정장수군 수척마을이 농어촌지역 대상지로 최종 결정됐다.

'농어촌 취약지역 생활여건 개조사업'은 취약지역 주민이 최소한의 삶의 질을 보장받을 수 있도록 주거·안전·위생 등 주민 기초생활여건을 개선하는 사업으로 사업비의 70%를 국비로 지원한다.

장수군은 2025년부터 2028년까지 국비 14억원을 포함,2019년 8월 1일 야구 경기일정총 20억원의 사업비를 투입해 노후주택을 정비하고(슬레이트 지붕개량,2019년 8월 1일 야구 경기일정빈집철거,2019년 8월 1일 야구 경기일정집수리),생활위생인프라개선(재래식 화장실 정비),2019년 8월 1일 야구 경기일정안전기반시설정비(노후담장정비,2019년 8월 1일 야구 경기일정보행안전도로정비) 사업 등을 추진할 예정이다.

최훈식 장수군수는 “공모사업을 위해 적극적으로 움직여 주신 수척마을(이장 김명근) 주민들의 노력으로 좋은 결실을 얻은 것 같다.이번 사업으로 농촌생활이 한층 더 나아질 것으로 기대된다”며 “앞으로도 주민들이 불편해하는 생활여건을 개선하기 위해 지속적으로 관심갖고 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
