[앵커]

6월 호국보훈의 달을 맞아 국가 유공자의 희생과 헌신에 대해 생각해볼 수 있는 특별한 공연이 마련됐습니다.

2010년 연평도 포격전을 그린 연극인데,손흥민 프리미어리그 골 순위당시 실제 부상했던 장병이 주인공으로 무대에 올랐습니다.

[리포트]

연평에서 태어난 기훈은 해병대에 입대해 연평도에 배치를 받습니다.

어머니의 죽음으로 연평을 떠났던 이경도,기훈의 아버지인 재호도,고향으로 돌아오면서 가족 전체가 다시 연평도에 모입니다.

하지만 기훈의 첫 휴가 날,손흥민 프리미어리그 골 순위갑작스런 북한의 포격이 시작되고.

["엄마!나 좀 늦을 거 같아요.있다가 다시 전화할게요!"]

기훈은 가족의 의미를 찾게 해 준 해병대와 나라를 지키기 위해 포탄 세례를 뚫고 전장으로 달려나갑니다.

["오늘도 우리는 계속 전진하며 소중한 오늘과 찬란한 내일.우리 모두의 삶을 지키기 위해…."]

실제 연평도 포격전에 부상한 뒤 제대한 이 한 씨가 외상후스트레스장애를 극복하고 주연으로 무대에 섰습니다.

[이한/기훈 역 : "우리는 경각심을 가지고 주의해 가면서 군인들에게 감사하다는 생각을 갖고 인식의 변화가 필요하다고 생각이 들었습니다.그리고 연평도 포격전이라는 사건에 대해서 조금이라도 조금씩 알아주셨으면…."]

이번 연극은 잊혀져 가는 그날의 의미를 되새기기 위해 청년부상제대군인 상담센터가 기획했습니다.

[이주은/서울시 청년부상제대군인 상담센터 운영실장 : "군 복무 중 다친 부상 관련 보상에 대한 법률 지원을 하고 있고요.그래서 행정 심판을 해서 소송까지 지원하고 있습니다.그리고 사고 트라우마에 대한 심리 지원을 하고 있고…."]

특히 이번 공연에는 2015년 목함지뢰 부상자와 천안함 생존자 등이 함께 연극을 관람하며 숭고한 희생 정신을 되새겼습니다.
